This cache is another
in our Fear This: Phobia series of caches. Arachnophobia,
like all phobias, is the irrational and extreme fear of
something, in this case spiders. Who doesn't go crazy when
they walk through an unseen spider web, those sticky strands
stuck on your face and hair, freaking out that the spider is
now crawling on your head? This cache will bring you face to
face with your fear. Be warned: you will see spiders, one
guaranteed to be the largest you've ever seen. If you can get
past that one, the cache container shouldn't be too bad....
should it? Grabbing it may be the worst of all. You may want
to take a friend along with you on this one - to help hold
you together if you freak!
This cache is on
Anderson Island in Ray Park. It is owned by the Riviera homeowners
association, which I am a member of. When you attempt this cache,
you will be my guest for the time it takes you to find it. The park
is usually quite empty.
The difficulty on this
cache is only a five if you are arachnophobic. If you aren't, it's
more like 2 stars.
Since we don't want
anyone coming all the way out to the island for a DNF, helpful
hints are provided.
