Parking for this cache is
at the edge of a sandy bluff overlooking the river. It is a
great picnic spot! Parking is at: N44 00.625 W 085 03.604
The colors are just great right now! (Oct.16th) From here
there is a small river trail along the river to the cache. You
will have to cross a very small creek too. It is a good size
drive in to the cache but it is very pretty. If you have young
kids, this is a good place for: "Kid Driving!" (Follow Kirby
Road in straight.)
The cache has a first finders prize of five lotto tickets. I
hope they are winners! Also, it has a camera, take a picture of
yourself and I will post it. Also, lots of other good goodies!
Trade fairly. Also, there is a Kids Picture Travel Bug that is
starting an art collection, to start off this cache.
Driving to this cache you will be crossing the "Giss-I-Was"
river at: N44 00.399 W 085 04.594 That is such a neat name.
At the parking site there is a different kind of outhouse. (Hidden
down to the NE)
2006 Spring Note: Small creek crossing has one small log to
cross on. Water is 5 ft. deep this spring. You can do it without
getting wet.
