Geocache Description:

One in a series of caches to show off the Bridge-to-Bay Trail, a series of foot- and bike-paths envisioned to connect Anchor Bay, on Lake St. Clair in southern St. Clair County, to the Blue Water Bridge in Port Huron -- and perhaps beyond.

For some reason, this is a popular spot among dog-walkers, joggers and goose-feeders -- although the signs prohibit the latter activity. You can practically reach out and touch the freighters. And when the smelt are in the river, the walleye and salmon fishing can be excellent.

Visits day and night both have their charms.

There is a lot of traffic, both vehicular and foot, so be circumspect while retrieving the cache.
