Geocache Description:

An easy to get to micro, located 55.55 blocks south, and 55.55 blocks west of the Metro Denver 'origin.'

Since the date '05/05/05' comes around only once every 100 years, I thought it was a good time to place my first cache. This cache is the cousin of Cinco! Cinco! Cinco! (05/05/05) placed by AZcachemeister in Phoenix (on 05/05/05), which also makes it the grandchild of 04/04/04 (placed in Phoenix on, you guessed it, 04/04/04).

Similar to Phoenix, the Denver area is laid out on a grid, with North-South block numbers starting at Ellsworth & East-West block numbers starting at Broadway (the corner of Ellsworth & Broadway is the origin, or 0 N/S & 0 E/W). Thus, with any address, you can tell at a glance approximately where the location is. For example, 5900 South Sheridan would be at the nearest major intersection to this waypoint - Sheridan (5200 W) and Bowles (5900 S).

I placed this waypoint pretty close to where the intersection of 5555 West & 5555 South (55.55 blocks west of Broadway, and 55.55 blocks south of Ellsworth) would be. I wanted to place the cache here, but it was too exposed (those big windows were muggles waiting to happen). To get to the cache from the waypoint, first look for the big white T. Then find the next closest big white T. From there, take a seat about 150 feet east.
