Docklands Art Walk - Lick-A-Prize Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

Partic: THIS CACHE ARCHIVED - NEW INSTANCE OF THIS CACHE AS A TRADITIONAL CACHE COMING SHORTLY.

Time for a cache audit.

Several of my caches have ended up in a degree of disarray, many of which are proving difficult to come up with suitable replacements, and some of which are just prone to muggling or other forms of demise.

My Docklands series caches are now getting impractical due to securing of the precinct, and increased contstruction.

So, time for this one to end up archived.

Thanks to all who've logged it, and sorry to all those who missed the chance.

For those waiting for it to go back on line for the Docklands series, the other docklands caches are now changing to traditionals instead of puzzles.

Geocache Description:

Docklands Art Walk - Lick-A-Prize

Part of Melbourne Docklands Public Art

The published coordinates are false. However, one of the Docklands Urban Art sculptures, "Eagle" can be found there. (More information - Item 8 on Map).

27/10/2005: One of the caches (Shoal ) remains disabled due to terrorproofing of the location. It will be replaced post-games.

The stick you will be missing is the same as one of the other sticks, and to help you out, either A=B or B=C...

Now you just need to work out which one was ABC and you'll find this cache.

This cache is one of a series around Docklands.

This puzzle is based very loosely on the Paddle Pop Lick-A-Prize concept. There are paddle pop sticks with parts of the final coordinates for this cache located in "Webb Bridge", "Cow Up A Tree" and "Shoal".

You will need to collect the three different sticks to work out what the final location of the cache is near a water sculpture around Docklands(More information on the artwork here when you know what it's near). The difficulty reflects the crowds that may be around at various times of the year. Other times the cache will be simple.

So, how to find the final location?

The three sticks, A, B, and C, all have two numbers on them. The first on each is the minutes to the South coordinate, the second the East coordinate.

So once you have all three, it should click what to do straight away! Then go to:

ABC
S 37° 49.SSS
E144° 56.EEE

The cache also contacts a CSSC (Cache Security Safe Code) for "Docklands Art Walk - Safe Harbour". Cachers should record this code in order to complete this 5th cache in the series.
There are a number of other Docklands Caches closeby, as well as a number of other artworks you can visit while visiting Melbourne's fastest growing precinct.
