Huckle Buckle everyone! My first hide is along the Ellicott Creek
Trailway in Amherst, more commonly known as the Amherst Bike Path,
a 7.2 mile path running from Maple and North Forest Roads to
Ellicott Creek Park, with several side loops.
The cache is a super easy find in the most traditional of geo
hiding spots. If you have to bushwack more than 500 feet, you're
doing something wrong! The bushwacking shouldn't be too bad, even
in the summer. Look for an overgrown service road off of the paved
trail.
This is an experimental cache container, that may or may
not withstand the elements over time. Many may be familiar with
this type of container, but if you're not, please pay careful
attention to how it opens and closes and seals.
There are two staging areas from which you can reach my cache,
and various other caching oppourtunities along the Ellicott Creek
Trailway:
Staging area 1 N 42 59.610 W 078 45.604 (1.7 mile round
trip). This is along North Forest Road, near Maple Road. This
staging area is convenient to
GCQ1J9 "E",
GCQ0WQ To Bee or not to Bee, and
GCH08W Amherst's Amazing Talking Toilet If doing "To Bee or not
to Bee", you'll want to do my cache along the way.

Staging area 2 N 43 00.405 W 078 46.516 (.7 mile round
trip). This is the St. Ritas Ln. dead-end off of North Forest
Road. This staging area is convenient to
GCT8W4 Millin' Around and
GCQ1JM "P" If seeking my cache from here, note that even though
your arrow may be pointing elsewhere initially, you'll need to
travel under Millersport Highway on the trail.

The Ellicott Creek Trailway is closed from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
I ask that you please refrain from caching during those hours. Have
fun people!
