Geocache Description:

Sherrards Park Wood in Welwyn Garden City is a beautiful woodland location which can be a little muddy at certain times of the year. The cache is concealed just off the woodland track.

You are likely to see a wide variety of wildlife in the area - Muntjac deer, badgers, woodpeckers and the like. Snowdrops and bluebells appear in spring.

Hope you enjoy trying to find Redzer's first ever geocache. The cache itself is a 5.0l ammunition box. Please be careful not to draw attention to yourself when retrieving and restashing the cache!

It’s possible to do all of Redzer’s caches in this area (and Welwyn Woodland) as part of a roughly circular walk. Try parking at N51° 49.133 W0° 12.306, outside a local church. The walk is approximately 6km if you follow the order suggested below:-
