I COULDN'T HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT YOU!

The Rino 130 raffle was won by JrJeep with a ticket number of 710573!!!
(His was a Paypal buy. Keep it in mind for next year.)

Same as last year, the event will be held in Cumberland County's ARNETTE PARK. Pets are allowed if they are on a leash. The park hours are 9:00am to 9:00pm.

Please don't forget to post the number of adults, kids, and geopups in your party attending when you log your "I'll Be There" note!! Will you be an Early Bird? If so, please post that too.

If you have anyone in your party with special needs, please let us know so we can accomodate them.

There will be over 30 new caches placed in and around Fayetteville just prior to the event.

Tentative Itinerary

Kiddie Cacher Run 1300 (1:00pm)

A team of willing cachers will be at the Airborne Control Point all day to assist any cachers who drop in. Our Welcome Table will feature pictures of the cachers that attended last year. If your picture is not on last year's page and you would like to be included, simply post your pic on this page and we will print it out and include you.


Water, soda, snacks, and some great conversation will be available at the Airborne Control Point all day for everyone. "Dinner" will be hamburgers, hotdogs, potato salad, baked beans, and dessert. If you want any other type of meat, just bring it along. We'll throw it on the grill for ya. If you feel like helping out a little, any snacks or desserts you bring will be greatly appreciated!! Yes, there will be tables with benches, but if you want comfort (or a guaranteed seat) bring your own chair.

The Kiddie Cache Run will start at the Airborne Control Point promptly at 1300 (1pm). There will be a kid friendly caching class first (including learning how to enter points into the GPS), then off the kids will go to find their targets! Each cache point sheet will have a unique number which the kids will need to keep for the Kiddie Door Prize raffle.
There will be an extra special guest hanging out with us during the Kiddie Run. You won't want to miss him.
(It wouldn't be a proper picnic without him! LOL)

There will be a "Where's George" Exchange at 3:00pm at the Airborne Control Point. Everyone bring their WGDs to swap!!!

We will be raffling off a Brand New Garmin Rino 130 at the EVENT!!! The tickets will be sold for $1 each. You do not need to be present to win. If you are not going to make it to the event, but you would like to purchase a ticket and a chance to win this GPSr please post a note and tell me how many tickets you would like to buy. I will then contact you and provide you the information as to where to send the money. The money must be received NLT Friday 19 May. I will then send you an e-mail with YOUR ticket numbers. This Garmin Retails for $380.00 All the proceeds from this raffle will be DONATED to the WARRIOR FUND. The Special Operations Warrior Foundation (SOWF) provides college scholarship grants, based on need, along with financial aid and educational counseling to the children of Special Operations personnel who were killed in an operational mission or training accident.

Again this year, we will be having an Early Bird Contest. 2 numbered coins will be placed in new area caches. (Check the gallery for a pic of the coin.) One will be in a new Shank cache, the other in a new SMX cache. The coins will not be placed until just prior to the Event. The first cacher to bring one of these coins back to the Airborne Control Point will win a Rino 120. The second will receive some very nice prizes.
