Located on top of Pilot's Knob by Lake Bancroft.

Taken from a Marquette Monthly article on the Old Ish statue: "Most Indians believed that what is now Lake Bancroft was bewitched because of the high bluff, sometimes referred to as Pilot’s Knob, on the north side of the lake. According to the settlers, the majority of the early Indians believed the bluff to be an evil omen and preferred to live in other areas of the Upper Peninsula." Great place to see the fall colors! Start contents include: Geocoin Copper Piece 2 small metal figurines logbook and pencil 5 pencil tops a bouncy ball a beach ball and a gooey frog thing
