Scilly Questions (Somewhere on IOS) Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

Simply Paul: Thanks for the feedback folks. It sounds like this has gone again. Since there's now an AdLab at the location (big spoiler!) I've decided to let it go rather than try to get it replaced. Sorry to the DNFers and thanks for all the logs. When I'm next on the Scillies I'll check GZ too and perhaps publish a replacement of some sort...
Cache happy,
SP

Geocache Description:

Originally hidden while on Scilly for Britain's Sixth Most Remote Event (Bryher) in 2012, at a location with great views of the islands, I checked on this cache while back again for Britain's Tenth Most Remote Event (St Martins, IOS) in 2016 and replaced it- hence the Hidden Date skipped forward!

The given co-ords are for the most westerly point of the most westerly inhabited bit of England. From here you can see the one bit of England further west which was inhabited until recent times: The Bishop Rock Lighthouse. It is the traditional finishing point for transatlantic races. However, the cache is NOT hidden there either and THERE IS NO REASON TO VISIT EITHER LOCATION. If you do though, you'd see a cool lighthouse, plus maybe seals and perhaps puffins, plus much more, depending on the time of year. Some fun Bishop Rock facts: It's the westernmost of the Isles of Scilly and the Guinness Book of Records lists it as the world's smallest island with a building on it.

To find this Geocache, you'll need to do a little research, either in books or online. The cache is hidden on one of the populated Isles of Scilly at N49 5(A+6).BCD W006 E(F+1).GHI where:

A is for Altitude. (Updated 27.08.19) The Bishop Rock lighthouse is 16A feet tall, according to Wikipedia anyway.
B is for Building. The original stone lighthouse went into service on September 1st 1858. Construction cost £B4,559.
C is for Candlepower. The intensity of the light is P00,000 Candela. P/2=C.
D is for Dash. In 1998 Scandlines' Cat-Link V went from New York to Bishop Rock at an average speed of D6.5 km/h.
E is for Maen Escop (sort of). That was the name recorded for Bishop Rock in 1E84.
F is for a Figure. (Updated 27.08.19) How many British lighthouses are taller than Bishop Rock? (Go by the text/info on the Wiki page linked to above. Trinity House are a bit vague & I've seen inaccurate info elsewhere online.)
G is for Gone. An earlier version of the Bishop Rock Lighthouse was washed away on February 5th 185G.
H is for Helipad. Trinity House added one to Bishop Rock in 19H6 because landing by boat wasn't always possible.
I is for Islands of Britain. In which episode did Martin Clunes help Invest the King of Piel? He ended the series on the helipad here.

Good luck! I hope you enjoy looking for this micro cache.
