Seabeck - This is one of the all time favorite geocaches in the area for many geocachers. Lots of time was put into the development of the cache. Cache is placed down by one or two ponds (depending on the season) and you can expect to see wildlife, while you take in the views. 

2 PONDS

Port Angeles - This multi-cache involves the answering of questions about art works that are scattered throughout Webster Woods that surround the Port Angeles Fine Art Center. 

A Walk In Webster Woods

Bremerton - A skeleton named Bernard has been unearthed in the area. However, he was missing three body parts. Can you find them? This cache is a multi/mystery night cache. It is in a wooded nature area. There is one steep hill that can be slippery. The hike is about a 1/4 mile long. 

Bones

Port Gamble - A Night Cache. The trail is wide and mostly level until you reach the path at the second silv'ry moon. Got batteries?

Olympic Mountain Range - This cache is on a trail going to Tubal Cain mine. South of Sequim about 35 miles on gravel road to trail head. There is a downed plane at the end of about a 3 mile hike. An excellent day hike, with amazing scenic views.

Sequim - Okay, so here's another excuse to pack a picnic lunch and head on up to Sequim Bay. Perhaps you can use this opportunity to relax, let you mind go quiet and enjoy the view for a while. Then again, nature may have different plans.....

Bainbridge Island - The best, funny cache in the whole world!

Silverdale - This vintage wooden box is a Flag theme cache with room for lots of "in" & "out" treasures. Pre-loaded is an antique 48 star U.S. flag, pictures of Jimmy Carter etc.

Bainbridge Island - An easy two stage multi that is fun and entertaining for all. At the first waypoint you will get a powertool, which is needed to get the cache at the final.

Gig Harbor - Read about the history of the area on information boards on the waterfront. The history is very interesting.

Green Light at the Tides

Port Angeles - The cache location is on an overlook as you enter Port Angeles, WA, where many a fry-toting muggle stop to take in the scenery of the Ediz Hook Coast Gaurd Station, and the Straits of Juan de Fuca and Victoria, BC in the distance. The muggle factor is at a extreme here.

Haynes Viewpoint

Olympic Mountain Range - At the Hurricane Ridge Lodge you will see the most magnificent view of the Olympic Mountains. The Olympics were not formed by volcanic activity, but were actually pushed up from the ocean floor.

High on a Windy Hill

This easy one-stage mystery cache is located off of Hwy 104 just west of the Hood Canal Bridge. Your task is quite simple really, as long as you have the right equipment. To complete your mission, you'll need a one gallon container filled water.

Hope Floats

Port Townsend - A bit of local history, a unique structure, and a fantastic view make this a fun drive-up virtual cache.

I stand alone

Sequim - this cache is located near a large railroad trestle bridge that now has a trail over it. We love the bridge and the salmon art down below, visible from viewing platforms.

Life's Simple Pleasures

This area is like a rainforest is absolutely gorgeous. You will see huge stumps and the remains of massive old cedars.  The cache is near the parking area. There's a short slightly steep walk down to a pristine river drainage and a wooden bridge. A second cache is futher up the trail, just before you enter the Olympic National Forest. 

Little River

This night cache is meant to be quick & easy, but most of all fun for all! A great warm up for the others in the area, if you have not caught them already. 

Midnight Stroll

A short .2 mile walk from Hurricane Ridge parking to an amazing view of  Mount Angeles, and Mount Olympus. Mount Olympus is the highest peak in the Olympics at 7,962 ft. Learn how the Olympics were formed. You will be surprised. This is a view you do not want to miss!

Mount Angeles Lookout

A entertaining cache on the side of the road with an interesting twist. In the Seabeck area west of Silverdale.

My Three Sons

The geocaches listed are recommended by the North Olympic Peninsula Chapter of the Washington State Geocaching Association. We want fellow geocachers visiting our wonderful state for Geo Woodstock 2010 to enjoy looking for caches in our chapter boundaries.
