This is my all-time favorite challenge: Hard-to-retrieve caches in remote locations, the ones that almost no one ever gets to--not because they're frustrating, but because they require dedication to reach. They payoff is almost always a fantastic view, adventure, or both!

Buck's crossing

I've never worked so hard for a cache in my life! This one's a 14-mile round-trip bike ride, with a few thousand feet elevation gain, combined with more than a mile of steep cross-country scramble. Exhausting, but tremendously rewarding! I was so tired I don't remember whether I actually remembered to sign the log book...

CCC #2: Storm King, Frisbee'r's "Crowing Jewel"

This urban nano, in a spot with bad satellite bounce, was one of the most challenging finds I've ever completed!

Down by the Riverside

Like its precursor, simply "E = mc²", this is one of the most challenging puzzles I've ever completed. Brush up on your cryptography!
