Ahhh   leg one had me baffled for quite some time and I'll remember it as one of the most devious hides I have ever encountered.    Of course it was followed by a great walk in the woods with a stuffed ammo can final and that made it even better.

Great hike up the Chautauqua Gorge to access this cache.  Enjoyed the scenery along the way..

A mile hike through ankle deep water in a lightless storm sewer under the streets of Buffalo! Does it get any better than this?

Liked it so much the first time that we recently paid a return visit.

This cache is the reason we created this bookmark list.  It offered a great hike in a very scenic area.  To really top it off it was very creative and one of the legs had me laughing out loud while standing alone in the woods!

We have finally got off our butts and created a bookmark list to record the caches we have found that we think are simply better than the rest.  I think you'll end up seeing a list of caches that either involve a great hike in a scenic area or very creative caches that offer a something a little different than the rest. The ultimate is to have both!  The most important attribute for the caches on our list is that we remember these special caches while the guardrail micros and shopping mall lampskirts fade into oblivion.
