Yeah, it's a trailhead of sorts. Unless there have been heavy rains, there is easy access up and over the dam, cutting miles off the trail from McAbee.

Dam Hicks! (Nazgul Secret Trailhead #2)

An evil little cache at a very popular entrance to the park. Use this entrance for the north end of the New Almaden Trail, the casual route to the reserviour, and Senador Mine. Can be busy at times.

McAbee Trailhead

A usually quiet entrance with parking and picnic facilities. Access to Norton, Hacienda and the south end of the New Almaden Trail. There is an interesting multi cache starting here as well...

Quicksilver Sig Item Trading Post

This is one of the primary park entrances. This is the most direct route to English Camp and the mines, but also the steepest.

Rocky Start

A high altitude entrance to the park. Easiest access to the mines and LOTS of caches. Little used but lots of parking and picnic facilities. Accross Hicks Rd is the trailhead for the Sierra Azul.

Snowman in July

A nearly unknown trailhead to Almaden Quicksilver. Limited parking in the neighborhood, and easy access to the New Almaden Trail.
