The cache is very close to the cut where the railroad went underneath Camp Road. If you look to either side of the road you'll see the railroad cut. The land is private now but the cache is close to the road.

Near the Bedford High School, the cache is placed near the old railroad bed that shows up on some maps as Bow Lane, hence the name.  There are some abandoned coyote dens in the area and the railroad turned south at this point and headed across what is now a dairy farm.

One my my favorites of the series, this cache is placed on the old railroad bed in a marshy area. You can catch a glimpse of blue herons sometimes.

Ghost Train Bedford McQuade

This is an offsite cache. If you look north from the first waypoint which is on what used to be County Road, you'll see an old granite culvert over which the railroad used to pass. The area is now a dairy farm.

Ghost Train Bedford Moo

The railroad used to go through the intersection of Route 101 and Route 114 which is where the incorrect puzzle co-ordinates put you. To solve this puzzle you'll need to visit one of the libraries in the area and do some research on the building of the railroad. The final is on the bed of the railroad at some location within Bedford.

23rd cache we've placed in the series. The road crossed south to north over the railroad which was headed to Bedford Station just east of the cache.

Although this doesn't look like the railroad bed, the railroad used to go through here. In the winter you can look to the north and see the railroad raised above the surrounding ground.

Short multi-cache on private property where the final brings you to the old railroad bed. Permission for the waypoints and final  was received from the property owners. 20th in the series.

Ghost Train Easter

Cache near railroad bed in Goffstown off of old Class VI (unmaintained) road.  You can see old granite stonework for the railroad and a bridge. This section of the railroad bed eventually comes out on Route 114.  In winter you can snowshoe to the GZ,your mileage may vary in the spring. :)

Ghost Train Maze of Twisty Passages

This location was the inspiration for the series. We used to walk along the railroad bed here as a family...before a lot of the nearby houses were put in. There is an impressive granite artifact for the bridge that went across the creek.  The land is Merrimack Town land but the nearby house has an easement to use it as a driveway.
