The Monterey Peninsula showing of the 2018 GIFF will be held at Bethlehem Lutheran Church.  800 Cass Street.  Monterey.  The event will be held from 3-5PM with the short films being shown on a projector in the fellowship/reception hall beginning at 3:30PM.  Folding chairs will be provided as well as popcorn.  You are welcome to bring snacks - for yourself or to share!  The film reel will run approximately an hour. 

Parking is plentiful on Saturday: the church parking lot, streetside parking on Cass St and Dormody Ct and parking under 880 Cass are all available.  In previous years, some attendees got caught in traffic on their way to Monterey, so if you are traveling on Hwy 1 or Hwy 101, you may want to come early and spend some time in Monterey before the event, which is located walking distance from downtown and Fisherman's Wharf. Also nearby (a free trolley will take you between Fisherman's Wharf and the row) is Cannery Row where there are three new 'Virtual Reward' virtual caches that were published in July and August - if you want to claim all three, note that one of them is 5-star terrain requiring SCUBA diving (the other two are considerably easier)!
