Since Mr Spockbear is Scottish-Canadian we felt that we should host an event for Canada Day, especially as it is Canada's 150th birthday! We've chosen to host our event in front of Broughty Castle as it hosts some interesting exhibits about the Dundee whaling ships voyages into arctic Canada.Â
Shortly we'll be visiting our son, Mr Caterpillar (also Scottish-Canadian!), who will be going to Canada on his honeymoon with Mrs Caterpillar. So we'll have some TBs to swap and we'll take some with us that will then travel further on to Canada. Attendees will earn the Where in the World is Signal the Frog : Canada souvenir for attending. For those planning an upcoming trip to the Great White North, the geocaching blog has some caching recommendations.Â
We'll be in front of Broughty Castle on Saturday the 1st of July (Canada Day)Â from 11:30am until 12:00 noon.Â
