This virtual cache will take you on a trip in and around the Indiana Memorial Union. Along the way you'll see some interesting paintings and sculptures. The tour will be conducted via the audio file available below. The tour will take around an hour to complete. Longer if you take your time and admire all the beautiful artwork the IMU has to offer.
To log this cache, answer the questions from the audio tour.
The Indiana Memorial Union is one of the lesser known places on campus to enjoy art, but in fact it is home to hundreds of paintings and sculptures. The IMU houses modern art, impressionistic paintings, seven hundred year old stained glass windows, a Hoosier photography exhibit, antique furniture, murals, and sculptures just to name a few of the works of art contained within.
This tour will take you by just a fraction of some of the art curated by the union. It's not required, but a photo of your favorite work of art would be encouraged, just don't show any of the answers in your photos.
Parking
Parking around Bloomington can be intimidating sometimes, so here are a few rules.
Any vehicle may park in any CH or ST zone from 5 p.m. on Friday through 11 p.m. on Sunday.
Parking is free in IU parking garages all day Saturday and Sunday.
The following three lots are free to anyone on weekday evenings and over the weekend:
During the week your best bet would be to park at a meter along Indiana Avenue or Kirkwood.
You can also park at the IMU lot, I believe that lot is also $1/hr.
