Geocache Description:

Inspired by the Wombles' cuckoo-cache, this is Cuckoo Cache Too. He lives in other people's caches, waiting to be moved on to a new nest by kindly geocachers.

This is a cuckoo cache. He can't be bothered to be placed in the countryside in a wet, dark hole, and much prefers to live inside other people's warm dry caches. He also likes to travel, so 'flies' from cache to cache when kindly geocachers take him with them and place him in a new nest

This cache could be anywhere - check this cache page (and the recent logs) before leaving on your hunt!

The Cuckoo Cache Too

The cache itself is a small (0.2 litre) plastic tub, and contains a log book and a selection of other small goodies. Please sign the log book using the pen/pencil from the cache that the cuckoo is in.

You don't have to move this cache to log it, but please do try to move it. However, please only take him with you if you can place him in a new nest within seven days - although this cuckoo likes to travel, his wings get tired easily when flying between nests!

Please also email me (Huga) when you take and place the cache so that I can update the page with his new co-ordinates for the next person to find him. I will try to update the page the same day as the cache gets placed in a new cache.
