This geocache has been constructed and placed by the students of Rosebank College, Five Dock, NSW.
Students from Year 7 through to Year 10 have completed this geocaching project as part of the annual Festival of Creative Spirit held by the College. The Festival of Creative Spirit serves as an opportunity for students to discover and develop their passions by stepping beyond the four walls of the classroom through the creation of authentic projects and experiences.
After a brief introduction to finding geocaches, students were given the challenge of constructing and hiding a geocache that responded to the environment or location using their creativity and imagination. Furthermore, they did this using found items or re-purposed materials.
