Yes, so this cache has been placed because of 'problems' with the other cache at Gillis Falls which was the first cache we ever placed. Cache: GCBE0
That cache, during recent downpours, has been buried under a large amount of dirt and sticks, and has become more of a time capsule than a cache.
We therefore decided to place another cache in the same general area as we didn't want the area to lose having a cache.
Following is basic information about this area:
It is accessible via the Gillis Falls Trail System. Park at the Woodbrook Parking area (Just off of Grimville Road, in turn just off of Flag Marsh road) coords for the parking area are: 39.22.856N 77.05.400W
Park in one of the couple O spots, and walk past the gate to begin your journey.
This area is open sunup to sunset, 7 days a week from Feb16th - Aug31st ... For the rest of the year it is only open Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday (Other days are for hunting). It is also completely closed from the Saturday after thanksgiving for 2 weeks (deer season).
