Geocache Description:

It was late afternoon as I searched for a location for this cache. There were lots of wild bunnies out feeding on the luscious green grass of Fagan Park. Of course, as you came near, they scurried away to the safety of their burrows. As a result, the cache name became instantly clear.

This is a two stage multi located near the Carrs Rd entrance to Fagan Park. Entry for people is free however there is a $6 parking fee payable at the ticket machines in the carpark. Unfortunately, council has now erected No Parking signs at both the Arcadia Rd and Carrs Rd entrances so you are unable to park outside and simply walk in.

Fagan Park is open from 7am to 5:30pm (EST) and 7am to 6:30pm (EDST), 7 days a week (except Christmas Day).

There are BBQ’s available ($1 coin) and toilet facilities nearby. Kids, of all ages, can bring along their cricket sets, frisbees, bikes, footballs etc, as there is lots of room. A children’s playground is also available. Fagan Park also has the following rules: Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a leash and stay at least 10m from BBQ's, picnic tables and the play equipment. Alcohol must not be taken into the Park.

WP1 is fairly secluded however the cache GZ is quite open so keep an eye out for muggles that may be passing by. Please ensure both WP1 and the cache itself are fully covered with available material to help camouflage them.

This is a fantastic parkland to explore so give yourself plenty of time. Why not make a day of it. Bring your lunch and search for the other caches located in the park.

I hope you enjoy finding this cache.

PS - Did you take that left turn at Albuquerque to get here? LOL Check out the link by clicking on the picture below:
