Geocache Description:

A four wheel drive trip on a fantastic track but not for the inexperienced will find the information to complete this cache.

Perched on top of a large dune you will find the information you need to complete this cache.

A challenging location to reach and not to be tackled without experience and some idea of what is involved in undertaking the trip here. I recommend no one should attempt this trip solo as a snatch strap or two and a second vehicle are a likely requirement at times. A soft roader may make the trip particularly if it had low range though some of the ascents are rough, and a bigger geofourby to assist if you got stuck would be desirable.

Confirm the track is open before you proceed on your attempt, and be aware that this trek would be extremely difficult in summer months should the track be open. Contact Pinnaroo Tourist and Heritage Centre, Ph:(08) 8577 8644. Note that the track one way and can only be travelled north to south.

A short walk off the track will find a structure which is somewhat unusual in these parts. A trip up the structure will prove worthwhile so as was intended by those who built it - take your camera.

A poor EPE may have you in the other state but even on a good day it's a tough call.

To complete the cache email me with
1. the year it was erected
2. the name of the architect from the plaque
3. the initials in the concrete foundation immediately below the ladder.

Best of luck.
