Chattanooga Choo-Choo Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Coralgeo: This one has been kept on life support way too long. When the geocache was first placed nearby, it was to take people down the trail a ways, underneath the really neat trestle bridge. That area became too overgrown to support a cache, and so the container was moved and became nothing more than a glorified lamp post hide. I'm going to free up the location for someone else to (hopefully) create something more worthy to bring folks to see the trestle (but not climb on it!). Aloha.

Geocache Description:

A secret trailhead to Seascape Beach, that's not so secret. Difficulty rating reflects the muggle-factor, especially during the summer months.

Central Coast Geocachers of California (CCGC) logoThis is another cache in the Song and Dance series.

When this cache was originally placed, the way to ground zero took you under the cool trestle bridge down this path. After seven years, the original ground zero became too overgrown with brambles, and poison oak began to creep across the path. Well, the ground crews recently cut back the PO, but the original site is still too overgrown to be of use any longer.

This new container was downsized and placed at the trailhead. Please be sure to bring your own writing tool, watch for muggles, and replace exactly as found (the cache must be replaced upon the proper surface for it to 'take'). Be sure to take a moment to walk the few paces down the trail and see the Chattanooga Choo-Choo trestle bridge.
