Found it novw.nl found Batu Caves, KL (Earthcache)

Tuesday, 11 May 2010Malaysia

Ok, since GTC's system does not allow for attachments in mails, I will do it like so.

After searching for the right bus we finally discovered the right number: #11 is the one to take.

Upon arrival it took us about 15 minutes to reach the first top. Please let me remind everybody it is PIPING HOT in Malaysia in May. One set of stairs down and one set of stairs back up again later we were at the end. Funny location this. It sure makes me wonder what was there first. The hole in the ceiling, or the hole in the side. The temples were (sorry to say) not very interesting. There is another temple complex 300 meters NW of the Batu entrance that looks way better.

Dark cave seems (like another logger stated) closed.

TFTC!

infoAn Earthcache is an educational form of a virtual cache. The reward for these caches is learning more about the planet on which we live - its landscapes, its geology or the minerals and fossils that are found there. Many Earthcaches are in National Parks. Some are multi-cache in form, and some have a physical log book located in or close to a Visitor Center. Earthcaches are developed in association with the Geological Society of America.
