Found it fogg found Rocky Road

Sunday, November 2, 2008Australian Capital Territory, Australia

Having done "SATURATE" and "Hardy ha ha" as a morning exercise, RexTrex and I decided to throw in the "Rocky Road" as a bonus. There was just a bit of bush-bashing involved. Since it was promised to be on an old walking trail, I believed it to be much easier than our experience 4 weeks ago.

As usual, the bush-bashing turned out to be much more substantial than one would expect. We needed 2 hrs to go from our bike parking place to the cache and back. But worse, we often lost track of the trail and - much more frightening - were almost attacked by bears (watch this: http://de.youtube.com/watch?v=e0MsPC9djXM ).

Nevertheless, this was another challenging (in particular riding downhill) Namadgi cache that proved that geocaching is something worthwhile to pursue.

Thanks to Rex for accompanying and teaching me and to mbo for the cache - Fogg

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
