Found it The Wildleys found Ponies' Peak

Monday, May 31, 2004South Wales, United Kingdom

The lovely weather we had for two days finally broke. We set off from Whitesands Bay in cloudy overcastness, and, by the time we reached the cache, it was very wet and windy indeed. It was atmospheric, and we still had good views of the islands, but we couldn't linger as long as we would have liked.

We opted to take the route around Carn Llidi, and we suggest that it is well worth it in any weather.

Took B-a-a-a-rney and CatSuey TBs, as both had been building up their strength for a month and a half, and we should be able to give them a decent start on their respective journeys. Left a book and a pack of colouring pencils.

Thanks for the wild, wet, and windy walk around Carn Llidi.

Carn LlidiA brief break in the rain allowed us to take this photograph of the peak around which we'd just walked.

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
