I think it was in 2010 that I first heard of the Jasmer challenge and started filling in some of the easier holes in my grid. In 2011 I took it a bit more seriously and I got down to eight squares outstanding, that being the best that could be done within the United Kingdom. No progress in 2012, so come 2013 I decided I really must get on with it. After much preparation I, and my best mate WhiteFriar, were on our way to the cradle of GeoCaching for some of the oldest caches in the world (and a few others).
Today we left Corvallis and headed North to Portland for an evening event. Naturally we collected a few interesting / esoteric caches along the way....
My 200th challenge cache! Struggled to find the correct access point and then a short search required at GZ before success. See my web page http://www.15ddv.me.uk/geo/chal/usa_challenges.html#07 for my list of qualifying caches (reused from two other similar challenge caches already collected).
