Found it Biertje found The Start of the Hike to Monte Cristo

Tuesday, 03 September 2019Washington

With Brain & Pinky, Eikenhofjes and Xizat I travelled 11 days through the USA to find some very old caches. On our 4th day we drove to the south-east to walk the Monte Cristo trail.
After we parked the car, we started the 8 km walk to Monte Cristo. We walked along the route of the railway line that was closed down in 1936 and then demolished. Along the way we came across several caches. I found The Start of The Hike hidden among the rocks and Xizat discovered Zetara a little later.

Thanks and cheers!

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
