I noticed this had been published while I was writing the days logs. A nice puzzle, and some useful resources which I didn't know about (one of the URLs seemed to be broken but it just needed the final bracket to be removed). The final co-ordinates looked plausible so we decided we'd try to get it tonight (sorry NJT for having to decline your offer of a race in the morning as I need to get to work).

It was our third caching visit to Chiddingfold in as many days, and we were soon there. A lovely clear starry night and we saw a fox on our way to the GZ. We quickly found the cache - a nice hide - and signed the log.

infoA Mystery Cache is the “catch-all” of cache types, this form of cache can involve complicated puzzles you will first need to solve to determine the coordinates. The only commonality of this cache type is that the coordinates listed are not of the actual cache location but a general reference point, such as a nearby parking location. Due to the increasing creativity of geocaching this becomes the staging ground for new and unique challenges.
