Found it Biertje found Water Hollow "Where the Blacktop Ends"

Sunday, 08 September 2019Utah

With Brain & Pinky, Eikenhofjes and Xizat I travelled 11 days through the USA to find some very old caches. On our 9th day we drove to Potters Pond in the mountains en did the Big Hollow trail and the Water Hollow trail.

After the Big Hollow trail we drove north on the Utah State Highway 132. We started the Water Hollow trail at "Where the Blacktop Ends" and drove east to "Water Hole Overlook". Here, too, the road was not paved, but it was perfectly passable. We stopped 38 times to put our stamp in the logbook of a cache. Along the way we ate the brought sandwiches and drank a lot of water. When we arrived on the Big Hollow Road, we drove it to US Highway 89, where we started both trails this morning.

Thanks and cheers!

infoA letterbox is another form of treasure hunting using clues instead of coordinates. In some cases, however, a letterbox has coordinates, and the owner has made it a letterbox and a geocache. To read more about letterboxing, visit the Letterboxing North America web site.
