Found it Biertje found Smelter History

Monday, 09 September 2019Utah

With Brain & Pinky, Eikenhofjes and Xizat I travelled 11 days through the USA to find some very old caches. On our 10th day we did a series of Challenge caches, we did a part of the Pony Express trail and we drove to Salt Lake City for our own Dutch Meet & Greet event.

On the way to Salt Lake City we had to refuel, so we stopped at a gas pump with a cache. Brain and Xizat took care of the car, while Eikenhofjes and I went looking for the tube. We have searched long around the historical object. Then we started working on the environment. Eventually I found the cache where the hint had already mentioned, but which we had misinterpreted. Eikenhofjes was stunned!

Thanks and cheers!

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
