Found it BaSHful found Herongate Loop - Leylandii

Saturday, August 1, 2015Eastern England, United Kingdom

Out and about with my good mate WhiteFriar on the second of two excellent days at and around the excellent Essex Mega Event with good weather throughout. Day two started at a more reasonable hour but was well filled with a variety of caches. Church Micros predominated but we also managed some SideTracked, some Large caches and miscellaneous others that I wanted to satisfy a number of personal challenges or to provide qualification for challenge caches.

We finished the day with this circuit but it did not go well with no less than 5 DNFs. We started late in the day, our second day, and we were definitely well below par. Curiously, we either found the cache quickly or we didn't find it at all, regardless of the rating. Still, a pleasant walk if a rather disappointing end to our trip to Essex.

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
