Out and about with my good mate WhiteFriar on an overcast day but one that essentially stayed dry. The phrase that's starts "You don't have to be mad to do this...." floated through my head once or twice during a day that saw me leave home at 6:30am and not return until 11:00pm but, with my non-geocaching partner away and it being an Easter Saturday, this seemed an opportune day to tackle a swathe of caches between the North Circular and the Northern semicircle of the M25, even it it did involve a complete circumnavigation of London! SideTracked predominated but with a fair sprinkling of Church Micros and a handful of specially targeted caches. Oh, and we bracketed the day with a pair of night caches. More DNFs than we like (and they can't all be missing!) but after a shaky start things got better and it was a good day, even if there is stuff left over that we will have to return for.
As to qualification, see my web page http://www.15ddv.me.uk/geo/chal/resuscitator_challenge_caches.html#me12 and take your pick! The ground had been squelchy getting to "The Mile High Club Challenge" and it got worse getting to this one but nothing we couldn't cope with, with care. This cache was where it should be and accessed without difficulty and the log signed. Finding our way back to the car proved more problematical but we found the correct path soon enough.
PS. In case you are wondering, I had waypointed the car and I had Ordnance Survey maps loaded on to the GPS but precisely zero paths are should on the map!
