Found it Biertje found Big Hollow "It's Electric!"

Sunday, 08 September 2019Utah

With Brain & Pinky, Eikenhofjes and Xizat I travelled 11 days through the USA to find some very old caches. On our 9th day we drove to Potters Pond in the mountains en did the Big Hollow trail and the Water Hollow trail.

The Big Hollow trail started at "It's Electric", ran 22 km to the southwest and ended at "Magnetic Personality". Halfway there was a turn to the west. That was the Water Hollow trail, which we would do next.

The weather was beautiful and the road was unpaved, but well passable. Brain was behind the wheel, so Xizat and I went looking for the caches. They were of different sizes, from photo tubes to large plastic bottles. Some bottles were severely damaged by the sunlight and fell apart. We replaced those specimens with small boxes that we had purchased this morning at the Walmart. We enjoyed the nature, the search and we had a lot of fun.

Thanks and cheers!

infoA letterbox is another form of treasure hunting using clues instead of coordinates. In some cases, however, a letterbox has coordinates, and the owner has made it a letterbox and a geocache. To read more about letterboxing, visit the Letterboxing North America web site.
