Found it cbiij found Skating Away - Tomahawk

Saturday, March 30, 2013Wisconsin

Congrats to Deitzd on his FTF. We LOVED his log. Not sure what the rest of the Rhinelander Brigade was up to this morning, but sadly we weren't cooped up! We were in Eau Claire - hoping to cache but it was pouring! We goofed around for a couple hours hoping for a break in the weather - but no such luck. So we started heading home, stopping only for 4 caches - got soaked quickly and were not in a particularly cheerful mood. (At least we didn't get snowed on!) We had planned a few days earlier that we were going to meet WorldServer to trade TB's in Merrill on our way home, but when we called as we neared town, she said she had to be in Tomahawk with her hubby and would rather meet us there. Little did we know that she had published a new series of caches today! We did this one after going to the three that we didn't see a log on (lucked out with one FTF out of those three). We were very surprised to encounter a muggle trying to turn in right where we parked - quickly got back into the car and drove a little farther away (turns out she lived right next door and wanted to pull into her driveway!). Walked back and made the find quickly - along with two dead wasps which fell out with the cache! That was another surprise - Deitzd must have more gentle hands than us, as he apparently didn't disturb them!

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
