I stopped here with zuma, comkelp and THB as we made our way from southwestern Wisconsin to Pennsylvania. This find was one of the highlights of this trip for me, as I clearly remember this day. I remember all the college protests going on across the country including those in Madison, WI and the tragedy that took place there when several protesters blew up the ROTC Building and killed a student scientist. On a side note the same protesters tried to drop a bomb on an ammunition plant from a bi-plane. The bomb landed fairly close but did no damage to the plant. These were interesting times and I remember our classroom teachers trying to influence our thoughts. I attended yet another protest in Madison (the largest since the Vietnam Campaign) a couple of years ago when our new governor was elected and attacked unions in the state. Fortunately, no violence took place this time. Thanks for placing this cache and bringing back the memories of how our country went through some trying and changing times!

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
