Found it Biertje found Monte Cristo

Tuesday, 03 September 2019Washington

With Brain & Pinky, Eikenhofjes and Xizat I travelled 11 days through the USA to find some very old caches. On our 4th day we drove to the south-east to walk the Monte Cristo trail.
After three hours we had reached the town and looked at the remains. After that it was a short distance to the cache. I thought I saw the right place somewhere, but Eikenhofjes found the box. We took pictures and wrote our names in the logbook. We finally found this November 2000 cache!

Thanks and cheers!

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
