Current Goal

My mission is to go from Leavenworth, Kansas across the country to Springer Mountain in Georgia and hike the Appalachian trail and return to Kansas and end up in the cache where I started A - di dah

THIS SHOULD GET US THERE

I am getting old. I do however take short hikes 2 or 3 miles long on trails around home. Since I have started, I have grown to love the activity and wish I had the strength and stamina to do the "Appalachian Trail". I know that will never happen so the best I can do is to set my Travel Bug "HIKER" on the long journey for me.
