To travel all around the world (maybe visit Pandas??), avoiding the general public, seeing where this rare Australian Panda can be found. The Panda is quite found of large things, national parks, and strangely.... bamboo.
Please help me move quickly from cache to cache, and please take of a photo of where I am, my junior Geocache owners would love to see where I am going!
Due to outbreaks of Bamboo in the late 1960s, the Australian Government held secret talks with China in the best eradication of this invasive plant. China on the other hand, could not get enough bamboo to feed the rare yet beautiful Panda.
In a secret deal between to the two countries, Australia agreed to help with Panda conservation in exchange for a Panda for trials in bamboo control.
As with most species introduced in Australia, the Panda escaped it's enclosure and has not been seen since. As the Panda was missing for many years, the government assumed the Panda either is a natural at the game of Hide and Seek, or built a sea going vessel of bamboo and sailed back to China.
Yet the real story is that the Panda can still be seen in the wild, often visiting caches from one place to the next, and is regularly caught on camera by a secret society called 'geocachers'. These brave volunteers keep the true story of the Australian Panda a closely guarded secret.
**PLEASE NOTE: This story is probably fictional. I think.

Traverling home from our christmas holidays in Out back Victoria, Australia. We had just been introduced to the Geocaching over our holidays and were very keen to start finding some.
The Geo kids were very excited to find this special trackable , Bamboo The Panda.
We thought Bamboo The Panda would like to Visit the Penguins on Phillip Island In Victoria Australia.

First ever Geocaching with my mate {goldilox!}, we stumbled across Bamboo the Panda in Stony Range. Planning to move it nearer to the beach, to climatise to our warm weather, ready for summer time!
