observation deck (if my memory serves me correct 107 floors up) in the 1980's. It was an amazing experience as a child looking down & watching the matchbox size cars & ant sized people on the street below. Fast-forward to 2001 when our world changed as we know it. My husband a NY Army National Guard soldier was "deployed" to Ground Zero to secure the perimeter. We know & understand that the days and years that followed changed not only for us but for many around the world. We have since visited this memorial site on several occasions, always a somber experience. Today, I visit with you.
