Carneval er festligt og fornøjeligt, min TB skal ud på rejse, og opleve carnevaller, festivaller og hyggelige eventer rundt omkring i Danmark og Europa.
Carnivals are festive and pleasuring, my TB shall travel to carnivals, festivals and amasing events around Denmark and Europe.
Please let the TB travel, do not keep it to long.
Traditionelt fejres Køln festival med farverige dragter, som kan ses på Lørdage på Neumarkt. Om søndagen optræder skolegrupper med parader over hele byen. Men højdepunktet er Rose mandag fejres med Køln Triumvirat - Prinsen, bonden og jomfruen, i den kilometerlange Rose mandag procession der går gennem byen. Karnevallet ender to dage senere på Aske onsdag.
Traditionally the gathering of the colourful Corps troops can be seen on Saturday at the Neumarkt. On Carnival Sunday school groups and borough parades take place all over the city. But the highlight of the street carnival is Rose Monday with the march of "Cologne's Dreigestirn" or Triumvirate - the Prince, the Peasant and the Maiden - in the kilometre-long Rosenmontag procession going through the city. Carneval ends two days later on Ash Wednesday.
