I want to go far and wide and see as much of the world as I can see.
This is my 400th travel bug I have released into the Geocaching world. One had over 250,000 miles on it before it disappeared. Some have gone missing with no miles on them. I want this one to travel far and wide in the Geocaching world and see as much as I can. I love traveling vicariously through a small trinket and a slab of aluminum.
I am a small non working N scale BN #400 switch engine attached to an actual BN (Burlington Northern) brass uniform button. The railroad gave them to the Passenger conductors to put on their uniforms so they would look cool and be part of the BN team. The buttons were used from 1970 to 1972. You would think something this old and cool would be worth something but they are not. At best it is worth $1. On a good day that is.
My travel bug is a customized 2020 Covid tag. I think these are fun and will bring back some odd memories of the past few years.
