About This Item

The Big Rockahuna started out at the Rolling Rock Cache (which may be the first cache to have sent cache hitchhikers out into the world) with its brother and sister rocks. After visiting a couple of other caches, The Big Rockahuna got its Travel Bug tag while visiting the Central Oregon Urban Cache. Any photos of The Big Rockahuna visiting with you and your friends and family will be a welcome addition to this page!

The Big Rockahuna is back after being abducted by aliens at the It Came from Outer Space cache. The experiments the aliens conducted on him must have been horrendous. Poor Big, he's a changed rock now.
His head is shrunk and elongated, and he lost his smile. He has grown some hair on one side of his head, which gives him a rather rakish appearance. Big now has a blue wooden body, but no appendages. I hope he didn't suffer much when the aliens transformed him, he still looks a little stunned.

Good luck in your future travels Big Rockahuna. Remember to stay away from the aliens!

I asked to be left in Iowa along I-80 in the hopes I could make some distance from here. I have become separated from the original rock that was attached to me. The photos in the computer log show my original looks. If I could have a new rock it would be nice. The log book and ID tag are in Iowa. (I-80 Grinnell Eastbound)I believe my rock face must be in a cache I have visited.

We found this one out in the grasslands of Colorado. We were visiting from Wisconsin and the poor thing begged for a ride. We headed east with it. Spent the night in Des Moines. Decided it was in the mood to travel so will leave him in Iowa along the way.

This is a very interesting bug. Looks like it has been close to our stomping grounds, Pullman, Washington. Going to leave it somewhere in CO.

I figured it was time to Pardon the big Rockahuna from the GrayBar Hotel cache. He needed to get back on the road. I hope that he learned his lesson abouts cards.
