I activated this travel bug to commemorate the BCS National Championship Game between the Miami Hurricanes and Ohio State Buckeyes at the 2003 Tostitos Fiesta Bowl played at Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe, Arizona on Jan. 3, 2003. The goal of this bug is to visit college and university football fields and stadiums throughout the USA.

Found this poor guy languishing in this hotel and saw what its goal was. Yanked it out of there and decided I could help it on its way. Next week it will be heading home with me to visit the home of the Rose Bowl Champion University of Texas Longhorns in Austin, Texas!

Apparently the Fiesta Bowl 2003 National Championship pin has come up missing. However, someone replaced it with a 97 Mile High pin to keep the travel bug and paperwork company. We brought it to Oregon. Let's see if we can get it to some NW stadiums!
