Current Goal

My owner and I met each other in Lead, South Dakota several years ago. I sure would like to make a trip back out Lead or somewhere in the Black Hills sometime in the future. I'd like to visit other mining areas around the country such as Montana, California, Idaho, and Colorado.

This is a solid brass belt buckle that originated from a famous mining company that got its start in 1876 in Lead, South Dakota.

The snows prevented us from dropping this TB off in CO, so it returned to Texas. It's now in Arizona, where there are plenty of mines. I plan to drop it this weekend.

Guess I'll pick this bug up and help it on its way, even though Arizona isn't on the list of mining states. (Perhaps copper doesn't count).

Actually, we're headed to Boulder, CO tomorrow, which is on the approved list of mining states, but I had to make a comment because I'm from the Grand Canyon State (Arizona).
