    Jake was finally liberated from his perch high upon Tiger Mountain this last Sunday!

    He was welcomed to his temporary home by a full fledged BBQ Pork Sammich feast. I had slow smoked about 15 pounds of pork for about 26 hours starting very early Saturday morning in eager anticipation of our guest's arrival.

    He'll be joining the XNz on a looong trip in a couple weeks where he expects to get plenty more styles of BBQ. I just hope he doesn't mind travelling...

    • Jake's Welcoming BBQ We had made about fifteen pounds of BBQ pulled pork. Three different styles, all smoked over apple and hickory for over 24 hours.
    • Jake hanging out This sign was about 100 feet or so from his last "hang out"
    • Nice day for a BBQ? But it was nice and sunny the day BEFORE we went up here!
    • Scary! This was an odd find very close to the cache. A broken, rusted out Brazillian machette, stuck in the weeds!
