About This Item

The tag is based on the Tohono O'odham and Pima (Native American tribes of the American South West) design that depicts I'itoi, the mischievous creator god and the labyrinth that represents the experiences and choices we make in our journey through life. In the middle of the "maze", a person finds their dreams and goals. When one reaches the center, we have one final opportunity (the last turn in the design) to look back upon our choices and path, before the Sun God greets us, blesses us and passes us into the next world. The design is also used in jewelry, belt buckles and other items by other South West tribes like the Hopi and Navajo.

Beautiful day for a bike ride along San Francisco Bay. Wanted to leave the TBs/GCs here but I didn't feel the cache's attachment device would hold any additional weight. We'll move it along some more!
