Current Goal

Well It looks as if Bertha has successfully arrived at the "Dowgas Tin Mine". July 7,2013. Close enough.

She would really like to spend a week end at Portpatrick. Can you get a picture of her sitting on the seawall; that would be great. Thanks for taking care of her and have fun. Bustertoad

Bertha has had a lot of fun in the north country and would now like to visit a friend in a warmer climate. Please help her get to the "Great Dowgas Tin Mine" in Cornwall. A short stop in Germany along the way would be nice. Thanks for the help. Bustertoad

Thank you all for helping Bertha reach her first goal. April 2007. After spending a fun time in Germany and the Netherlands Bertha would now like to ride the train from Oslo to Bergen. Thanks again to all who helped. Bustertoad Jim Brown

Welcome to good old Europe, Bertha - quite close to The Netherlands! But Jesus, this is the heaviest TB I've ever seen. Was quite a job to get it to my car through billions of curious people on this christmas market... 😉 OK, and now? At the very moment I don't really know a stash to place this BIG ONE. Maybe I will dig Bertha her own cache somewhere. We'll see! Merry Christmas and all the best from Germany! Stefan P.S.: Kerstin really did a great job to bring this heavy monster here! I really would like to what she had to left in the US instead when packing her suitcase there... 😉😉😉

Today, I showed Bertha a typical "German Christmasmarket", great food and great "Glühwein". I found a nice location in the middle of Bochum to drop it, but I guess she don't like it very well and will move on shortly. I had a great time with Bertha and miss her!!!

Bertha made it all the way to europe without problems:-) Though, I guess I had to tell a lie at the airport when they asked my about my luggage and if anybody asked me to transport something;-) On my way to the american consulated, I showed her Frankfurt (unfortunally, the micro was a little small;-) and will find a nice cache in germany to travel further.

Bertha did make a lot of noise in my car on the way home. Should have fasten her seatbelt... I will show here Central Illinois before taking her on a trip to europe.
