This coin is to travel to all 50 United States and be brought to the Boy Scouts of America (BSA), National Scout Jamboree held at the Summit in West Virginia, from July 19th thru 28th, 2023, and presented to Brian Coleman at the geocaching station. From there it is to travel to each member nation in the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) before being brought to the second Scout Centenary in the United Kingdom in the year 2107!
Essex Scouts Jamboree Unit Geocoin...
This coin was presented to Mike Nostrand, Advisor to Venture Crew 337 (Provisional), a combined Crew from Northeast and Central Regions, Boy Scouts of America, on August 3rd, 2007, at the 2007 World Scout Jamboree in Essex, United Kingdom.
The Coin features 'Eric the Donkey', the Essex South Unit Mascot as well as the UK Contingent Logo. The reverse of the coin has the Essex International Jamboree 2008 Logo. Limited to 250 coins, they were given away at the 21st World Scout Jamboree to other Contingents. Read more at:
